After 23 years of running my business I know that moral values go hand in hand with quality of workmanship and service. It's important for me to know that my clients can trust me from our first introduction right through to completion of a project, and beyond into after care. Personal recommendation has been a vital key in the development of my business and I receive commissions from throughout the Yorkshire region, although I am increasingly working with clients from around the UK, and even as far afield as France.
My many years of experience have helped me focus on creating handmade kitchens and furniture that meet clients' desire for a product that is solid and durable, as well as being stylish, practical and affordable! Hence all my work is crafted from solid timber and finished entirely by hand, using high quality products such as the Farrow and Ball range of paints which are water based, eco-friendly and comply with the latest EU environmental legislation regarding VOC content. I don't use MDF, chipboard or ply, nor do I employ the latest 'gadgets and gizmos' like soft close drawers. Also, unlike mass produced brands, every single piece of my furniture is made to order to a client’s unique specifications; there are no standard sizes. This ensures that it fits perfectly and works with the feel and use of each individual home. At the core of my work is the desire to create beautiful bespoke furniture that will grace any home and ‘stand the test of time’; furniture that is a delight to use and a pleasure to own.
